Marc and Franky start their careers with the elite corps of the Belgian police. The corps has reached a crisis point after Major Vernaillen uncovers the drug trafficking operation of one of its leaders, Commandant François. Marc starts as a secretary for the major and finds himself right in the middle of the internal struggles of the corps. Franky’s need to prove himself catches the attention of Madani Bouhouche, a police officer who isn’t shy to bend the rules. To Franky’s dismay, his sister Vicky evades all contact with him and Marc because as cops they are unwelcome on the leftist university campus. After the symbolic conviction of Commandant François and Bouhouche’s discharge from the police force, the terror starts with a murder attempt on Major Vernaillen’s family.
