After the attack on Vernaillen, a new superior, Adjutant Goffinard, takes Marc under his wing. Goffinard assigns Marc to a case of illegal pirate radio stations taking him out of the barracks. Marc tips off Vicky about an upcoming raid at the station she DJs for. It brings them closer together. Franky tells a lie out of solidarity with his superior, Adjutant Debels, when the latter oversteps his mark during a racist incident. As a thank you, Debels introduces Franky to Groupe G, a shady organisation of far-right police officers. After the attack in which his wife was seriously injured, Major Vernaillen no longer trusts anyone at the police force. That includes Marc, who he accuses of being as corrupt as his father. Madani Bouhouche is out for revenge after his dismissal from the police force. On New Year’s Eve, he and his friends steal fire arms from Groupe Diane, the police force’s elite unit.
