Black Box is a film about a passion that refuses to die. The film is based on the best selling novel by the renowned Israeli author Amos Oz. Black Box takes its title from the indestructible tape which records the last seconds before an aeroplane crashes: the final testimony after all lives and explanations have been destroyed. For this film, the 'Black Box' records the tale of a wrecked marriage. It is a story of passionate love set against the turbulent times of modern Israel.
