This short film is part of A Film School in Mosul.
A young boy works on a crossroad in Mosul, trying to sell small goods to car drivers. One day, he meets a man in a fancy car promising him a better life. Ali, only 7 years old, gets in. Moments later, he realises he is in grave danger, but it’s too late. In the final scene, we see the rich man coming out of a destroyed house. He’s fixing his pants. The boy comes out moments later, his eyes filled with tears.
