Gun-tae, a young daydreamer, works at a ‘Backdoor Ironsmith’, where they illegally make gunnery. His everyday dream is to become a hero like Chow Yun Fat in the movies. One night, Gun-tae happens to carry an old man back to his home. In return, the old man gives Gun-tae a mysterious jar where Gun-tae puts in some snails received from the Machine-gun Granny, a new neighbour in town. Incredibly, one of the pond snail turns into a girl who crawls out to do daily chores for Gun-tae. Meanwhile, a former thief named Young-baek is stirring up the could-be-peaceful village with his greed causing Machine-gun Granny and the snail people to stand up against him! At the crucial moment, will Gun-tae be able to follow the legendary footsteps of Chow Yun-Fat?
