Dead Can Dance: Toward the Within

Lisa Gerrard and Brendan Perry, the duo who have made up "Dead Can Dance' for the last 15 years, recently completed a tour of the united States and Canada in support of their latest album "Into the Labyrinth." The sold-out tour finished with two private performances in California. Those performances provided the basis for a "live" album and a 77-minute concert film. Director Mark Magidson includes interviews with Gerrard and Perry within the visual and aural record of their concerts, as they perform a mixture of Anglo-Celtic music, medieval liturgical chants and Middle Eastern dance music, incorporating both traditional instruments and new technology in a way that has redefined the term "World Music"...
