Jean-Louis, a sweet-natured, literal-minded orphan who was raised by his stern, decrepit grandfather, is unexpectedly deflowerd at age 25 by a cavalier Parisienne who lands in his minuscule village for a few hours during a bus repair. When grandpa croaks, Jean-Louis bikes to Paris, sure he will find his love goddess, "whose hair is the color of French Fries."
