This is a true story of facts which occurred in the area of Mauthausen in February 1945 and to which is referred to as the “Hare-hunt in the Mühlviertel". Nikolai and Michail, two of 500 Russian officers, are forced to live under inhuman conditions in the death block nr. 20. They know that in the camp their days are numbered and they decide to join others in a secret escape plan. Only 150 prisoners succeed in making it outside the compound alive.
