"I will revenge this world with LOVE" S.Paradjanov

Few Eastern European filmmakers achieved worldwide fame like Sergei Paradjanov. With films like Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors and The Colour of Pomegranates, the Georgian director put himself on the map as an idiosyncratic arthouse director, but also sealed his own fate as an enemy of the Soviet regime.
