In February 1942, at the age of 27, in an aura of prestige after his recent success Citizen Kane, Orson Welles goes to Brazil to shoot a film he will never be able to finish. In August of the same year, his divorce with Hollywood is pronounced. Half a century later, It's All True opens with a document relating, through a very meticulous survey and numerous evidences, Welles' epic in Brazil. It then continues with the whole of the film which was thought lost, Four Men On A Raft, restaured according to the instructions of the filmmaker.
