25 years ago, the Belgian government decided that the national film industry should be supported by public funds. Since then the national Culture Ministry and later the Flemish Culture Ministry have supported Flemish productions and co-productions with the Netherlands and other countries. After these 25 years it is certainly worthwhile to look back upon what has happened so far and to try to establish a round up of what remains to be done. Robbe de Hert and his team collected all kinds of footage and extracts from Flemish films and went for a series of Interviews with known and less-weH known connoisseurs of these 25 years.
