THE RABBIT MAN
The Rabbit Man has a thriller-type narrative, but is really, says director Stig Larsson, a film about reconciliation through love. The central character is Bengt, a news editor at TV9 and former crime reporter, whose tabloid-like TV exposures are based on the premise of giving the people what they want. His latest series on teenage rape victims is a network smash hit. Things become complicated, however, when Bengt discovers (through his contacts with the police) that his son Hans (married to Lollo and recently a father) is the prime suspect. (Moving Pictures International 27.10.90)
