Misael lives in the immensity of the countryside in the Argentinian province of La Pampa, working with his axe. He gets by only with the minimum necessary and almost no contact with other people. We follow him minute by minute, as we try to discover, through small actions, his way of being in the world. The title refers to both the way the woodcutter makes his own routine personal and liberating, and the freedom allotted to viewers to use their imagination.
