When a woman leaves me for a mistress, I have two choices: I can either have a haemorrhoids’ crisis or I can make another film. I have chosen to do the latter, because it is the less painful. Anyway, that’s what I thought at the time. So, I have made another film. A bit like Jesus the Nazarene, I talk to men (and certainly to women) about Liberty, Equality and Fraternity, which results in something even worse than a haemorrhoids’ crisis. (Jan Bucquoy)
