The film is about a young worker in a beauty parlor who is concerned mostly with cars. It leads to him borrowing his boss' car with a young girl and there he discovers love for the first time.
Skolimovski is extremely inventive. But overall this shows a personal talent that should make a bigger impact when he is more selective and pays more attention to narrative. (Variety·17-05-87)
