It’s a story of two people whose relationship is changing because the feelings of one of them have developed from feelings of deepest friendship to total love.
Extravagant heterosexual Kyoko behaves as she pleases and lesbian Chinatsu takes photographs as if she were keeping a diary. They are roommates in a red one-storey solitary house. They eat together, sleep together, go clubbing, smoke dope, and take jobs as bunnies in a hostess club to pay the bills. Kyoko falls in love with Sakamoto, a tropical fish shop manager, who never cares for her. When Chinatsu is dumped by her girlfriend, Kyoko tries to console her – and the two get as near as to making love. And suddenly, it’s make-or-break time: will Kyoko become Chinatsu’s lover or not?
