Gwyn Marcus, an advertising copywriter living in Miami, tells her analyst about her family and her love life... Gwyn has just accepted a marriage proposal from her boyfriend Matt. One day she attends the wedding of her sister Leslie. At the reception, her father Vic tells her that he is convinced her mother Nina is having an affair. Later Nina admits to Gwyn that she is involved with Antonio, the Cuban nurse who is looking after Gwyn' s stroke-afllicted grandmother. Nina tells her how the affair began with a night out at a Cuban restaurant and a visit to his apartment. A few days later Gwyn runs into Antonio...
