Forced to leave Seoul, Jin Ah, a prostitute, finds a place to stay at “Birdcage Inn” which she shares with a family of four. Besides the parents there is a daughter Hye Mi who is studying at university, and her brother, Hyum Woo, who is still attending high school. Jin Ah’s relationship to the young girl is not without problems: while Jin Ah sells her body to men, Hye Mi, who is almost the same age, enjoys a carefree family life. Moreover, since Hye Mi is rather up tight when it comes to her own sexuality, her relationship with the new tenant is strained to say the least. The conflict between these two young women flares up when Jin Ah starts having an affair with Hye Mi’s boyfriend…
