The usual traffic jam, shrieking ambulance sirens and honking of car horns, a forgotten present for a wife, persistent hard rain. The beginning of another crazy day. Michal Forman leaves his broken-down car standing in the stopped-dead traffic and hides from the rain in an entrance of a passage. A little girl lures him inside. From that moment, Forman is trapped in an enormous labyrinth of shops. Floors and floors of weird people that seem only to resemble those outside. By the end of the day, Forman is exhausted by the whirlpool of 'life' in this burlesque underworld. But there seems to be no way out and he becomes fully absorbed by the passage.
