Edition 1995
106' - 1992 - Crime, Drama, Romance - Dialogue: Mandarin

This is the very personal film whose direct and prosaic style is in conformity with its subject: the life without future, ideals or purpose which young people, that have missed the boat, lead in the jungle of the modern cities. Ah Tze and Ah Ping are brothers and bike boys. They rob telephone booths for the money and kill their time in amusements halls and fast food restaurants. When the young Hsiao Kang, up to then a wellbehaved and introvert student, sees them break the mirror of his father's cab, he is impressed by their guts. He quits school and starts roaming the streets of Taipeh on his scooter.
