Each evening, the Italian restaurant Rossini is frequented by a number of illustrious regulars who have one thing in common: they are “singles" who've made the restaurant their home from home. Without any kind of inhibitions they use the restaurant as a living room and office, as a forum for their self-portrayal and the stage for their erotic comedies and tragedies. They include a very busy cosmetic surgeon, an apparently man-mad woman journalist, a loud, jovial film producer, an uncompromising poet who lives in a brothel, a nervous man suffering from allergies, the restaurant owner, the personnel ... All of them are connected with each other: hopeless love, hatred or jealousy...
