Hessam has to travel abroad for medical treatment. His wife Sara pays for the expenses explaining that the money is part of the inheritance left by her father. Hessam returns home after successful medical treatment. Meanwhile unbeknownst to her husband, Sara is trying hard to pay her debts by doing sewing jobs. Goshtasb, the man who loaned Sara the money, is accused of forging documents and asks Sara to make her husband help hirn keep his job. Sara knows her father's signatures on the documents are false because she herself forged them. When Hessam learns the truth, he berates Sara and tells her she does not deserve to live with him.
