In the misty wilderness of North America lives a four-strong clan of legendary sasquatches (including Jesse Eisenberg and Riley Keough who are so unrecognisable you might actually mistake them for being real sasquatches). Mankind's relentless progress means that Bigfoot and co may be marching towards their final sunset. Apart from that tragic prospect, Sasquatch Sunset is a surreal delight that maximizes sex, drugs and madness. Made to resemble a nature documentary, it doesn't have a single word of dialogue, making ample room for growls, whines, moans and more guttural sounds, alongside slapstick comedy and a varied array of body juices. Don't expect too much sophistication from these primates. After writing and directing several episodes of The Curse (2023) together, brothers David and Nathan Zellner adventurously surf on their completely unique wavelength. In their words, "because the world needs Bigfoot now more than ever."
