Vitali is a handsome young man and the lover of Aljona. Vitali, under the auspices of taking Aljona's 10-year-old daughter to school one day, takes her to a secluded area and nonchalantly kills her, laying her in an grave already dug. After calling the mother to tell her that her daughter has been kidnapped, Vitali continues on his spree of destruction. He follows a woman into her apartment and assaults her. Later he rapes the bride of a friend in the midst of her own wedding. The spree continues, and in the last scene of the film, we watch as Vitali rides off on a streetcar, gleefully waving at the camera.
