Brick walls, clouds of steam,pieces of rusting machinery, abandoned warehouses: this is the setting for Larry Weinstein’s revival of Kurt Weill' s music. With his penchant for modern “trash” aesthetics, the Canadian director has chosen some of the great names in contemporary music scene to transpose the works of the German composer into the context of our time.
