Spring för livet (Run for your Life)

Catti and Mikael are in the maternity ward for the birth of their first child. They are finally going to put their stormy relationship in order and create a home that is both secure and peaceful. A foreigner named Maria who is in the same ward as Catti, turns to her help whenever she is unable to express herself in Swedish. Suddenly and without any warning, the police arrive at the hospital to take Maria away. It is not very clear why they are doing this, but Catti hears words such as “terrorist” and “illegal alien”. Maria makes a quick decision and jumps through the window to land on the lawn three floors below and run of with the police at her heels. Catti feels that something is not right and decides to smuggle Maria’s child out of the ward….
