Somewhere on the 932-kilometer border between Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina director Nicole Vögele encounters refugees, trying to reach Europe. They are not only stuck between two countries, but just as much between a distant future and traumatizing past. The German documentary maker films with care, making explicit the endless waiting rather than the violence.
