Stourley Kracklite, American architect, goes to Rome, museum and mausoleum of Western Art Architecture, to honour a dead man to put on an exibition of his hero, the visionary architect Etienne-Louis Boullee. To honour the dead, the abstract and the visionary, Kracklite forgets the present and pays the penalty. He ignores his wife, his child and finally, his health. The penalty for such obsession is to lose his exhibition the very thing he sacri- ficed all the other parts of his life to achieve. (pressbook)
