Behind The Scenes '40 Years Film Fest Gent'

On the same day, the dress rehearsal of ‘40 Years of Film Fest Gent – A Music Celebration’ will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Handelsbeurs concert hall. The concert is an initiative of conductor and composer Dirk Brossé, who will also conduct it. At the rehearsal the piece will be played by 28 soloists from the Brussels Philharmonic, as well as by a number of composers who will also play during the minute of music they composed. In between, Dirk Brossé among others will frame the event by telling anecdotes about the music.

Many of the forty composers will make the trip over to Ghent and will be present at the dress rehearsal. The following composers worked on the piece:
