About the film: Binti
Binti tells the story of 12-year-old Binti, who dreams of becoming a well-known vlogger. However, her life takes an unexpected turn when she and her father, Jovial, originally from Congo, are forced to flee from the immigration police as they are staying in Belgium illegally. As a result, she meets Elias, with whom she soon becomes good friends. Together, they devise the perfect plan: her father must marry Elias's mother so that they can stay in Belgium.
About the film: Past Lives
Past Lives is a heartwarming and heartbreaking story about Nora and Hae Sung. The two first meet as children in South Korea. Their friendship is abruptly interrupted when Nora moves to Canada with her family. Years later, as adults, their paths cross again in New York City, where Nora lives and works. Despite the years and distance that separated them, they immediately feel a deep and inexplicable connection to each other.
