The cinema’s are opening their doors again. Phew! And thanks to this happy occasion Film Fest Ghent can go back On Tour. After a break of a few months, Film Fest Ghent is able to programme the avant-première of the enchanting Petite Maman in cinemas and cultural centres in Flanders.

Petite Maman is the latest film by Céline Sciamma, who made cinephiles' mouths water with the fiery Portrait de la jeune fille en feu, which turned out to be one of the most beautiful love films of the century. The French director introduces you to the eight-year-old Nelly who, after the death of her grandmother, travels to the parental home of her mother Marion. While her parents are emptying the house, Nelly meets a girl her age named... Marion.

Sciamma's fifth film is an enchanting parable about memories, childhood, family and friendship. Through the eyes of a child, the world always seems a little different. With this film, Sciamma proves once again that she is one of the most captivating filmmakers of our time.

Tickets for this film will be available via the participating locations of Film Fest Ghent On Tour.
