Songes d'une Femme de Ménage by Banu Akseki has won the National Lottery Price for Best Belgian Short Film. The director receives a premium of 5.000 euro. Jazzed by Anton Senola receives a special mention. The price was given by Marc Frederix, marketing director of the National Lottery.
Songes d'une Femme de Ménage is about a charwoman. She has to clean, scrub and vacuum all day long. She's always working for others, while her life passes by without joy. Accidentally she gets to see a gleam of her own loneliness and desperation.
