  • Does Film Fest Gent screen films with audio description?

For some films in the programme, Film Fest Gent provides audio description via Earcatch. Please be aware that, for now, this is only possible in Dutch.

The audio description can be downloaded and played via the app and automatically synchronises with the sound in the cinema or from your television or computer. During pauses in the dialogue, a voice-over describes visual elements of the film such as characters, facial expressions and place settings.

A list of films with audio description will be published after the programme is announced.
