Based on the best selling book by Alexander Kabakov, Detector is a fast moving series of shots that look like a combination of documentary and action drama. The plot centers around popular TV journalist Korneyev who discovers a document revealing plans for a military coup by high-ranking Soviet generals. Korneyev's crusading journalism is dedicated to preventing any return to the times before perestroika.
